Vera de Estenas

Vera de Estenas wines are produced in the varied terroir of the Utiel Requeña region. The temperatures in the vineyards are extreme, with scorching hot days and freezing nights. Soil quality varies as well, but it proves to be suitable for making high quality wines. Their Rosado is composed of Bobal a local grape indigenous to this region.

Bobal VV 2008

Vivid ruby. Sexy raspberry and candied cherry aromas are appealingly fresh and straightforward, revealing no hints of herbs or earth. Jammy, sweet red fruit flavors are braced by tangy minerality and pick up a note of blood orange on the back. Extremely easy to drink, with excellent finishing verve and lingering sweetness. 89 points.
