Anna and Angelo Bolzan own 35 hectares of vineyards in the smallest IGP area of Friuli: Alto Livenza. Three generations of the Bolzan family worked to build the estate in Cecchini, a small village close to Pordenone. The area is surrounded by rivers; the soil is alluvional, calcareous-dolomitic, rich in silt and extremely fertile. Sand and gravel are guaranty of great drainage. The training system of the vineyard is a short Guyot, with a high density of plants per hectare. The soil is grass covered, with practically no need of fertilization. No pesticides or herbicides are used.
