Vera de Estenas

Vera de Estenas wines are produced in the varied terroir of the Utiel Requeña region. The temperatures in the vineyards are extreme, with scorching hot days and freezing nights. Soil quality varies as well, but it proves to be suitable for making high quality wines. Their Rosado is composed of Bobal a local grape indigenous to this region.

Bobal Rosado 2008

The 2008 Rosado from Finca La Cabezuela is made from the Bobal grape, which is indigenous to the Utiel-Requeña region. The nose on the 2008 is quite lovely, as it delivers scents of strawberries, spring flowers, an exotic touch of ground pepper and a nice base of salty oil tones. On the palate the wine is medium-full, long and juicy, with nice complexity.
