This cuvée is sourced from a total of .10 hectares spread over several parcels: Chardannes, Herbues, Maladières and Babillère. Downslope, the soil is a thin layer over the bedrock; numerous cracks in the stone allow the roots to penetrate deep into layers dating back to the Jurassic period. Blocks of stone and gravel ensure a good drainage. The vines are 64 years old on average.

2,400 bottles produced.

"Bright ruby-red. A distinctly dark style of Chambolle on the nose, offering aromas of black raspberry, licorice and minerals. Then juicy, pliant and sweet in the mouth, showing captivating soil-driven saline tones. Very rich and sweet but given shape by harmonious acidity. There's nothing extreme about this 2015, even following the Lécheneauts' line-up of 2016. This densely packed wine finishes with big, ripe tannins and very good length."
