This wine is a blend of equal parts from two parcels, Seuvrées and Charreux; the Lécheneauts farm a total of .11 hectares between these two vineyards. The village appellation is predominantly brown calcareous and brown limestone soils; these sites also have marl covered with scree and red silt, which brings an elegance and finesse to the wine, while the limestone, littered with fossils, gives body and firmness. The vines are 70 years old on average.
2,600 bottles produced annually.
