NYC Wine Spirits Importer Distributor

David Bowler Wine is a New York based importer and distributor focusing on naturally made, small batch wines from around the world. Working with importers and directly with wineries, it is our mission to present wines of personality and character, wines that reflect something about where they are made and who made them. For the most part this means wines that are un-manipulated, organically farmed, and true to their viticultural heritage.

Our main focus is on the wines of France, Germany, Spain, Italy, the United States, and South America. Most are family farms run by owner/winemakers. We are proud to able to make these wonderful and delicious wines available to our customers. And of course, because great wine is a living product, all of our wines are shipped and stored in a temperature controlled environment.

History

Established in 2003.

I started the company in the fall of 2003 with a small but solid book of German and French wines and two employees. With a few wines, a vision, and a lot of ambition, we began to sell wine to key accounts in New York and New Jersey.

In the ten + years since opening, we have grown to 30 employees and expanded our portfolio considerably. We represent wines from most of the major wine regions in the world and work with many of the region's leaders in quality. Our wines are found in the best restaurants and retail stores throughout New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and California. We look forward to many more years of sustainable growth, more wine discoveries and further adventures along the wine trail.
