Episode

Inspired by Tony Terlato’s desire to produce a wine that stands alongside the best he has tasted during his over fifty-year career, Episode is crafted from the finest grapes that Napa Valley has to offer with the intention capturing the essence of the vintage in an age-worthy, classic wine.

The fruit for Episode comes from the Terlato Estate vineyard, a 7-acre plot located on the Rutherford bench in Napa Valley. Planted in 2001, the vineyard is sustainably farmed at 900ft elevation which allows for a cooler environment for growing Bordeaux varieties. The grapes are hand harvested at low yields and brought to the Terlato Family winery where they are fermented in French barrels and aged for 22 months, followed by an additional 2 years in bottle.
