Tour du Bon’s flagship wine, what Agnés calls “the blood of the earth" ; a blend of Mourvèdre, Grenache, Cinsault, and Carignan. Aged for 24 months in large foudres.
From Agnés Henry:
"2014 was (like 2012 and 2013) a year with a good quantity of rain in winter and spring - so the vine was in good shape, giving fruity and juicy grapes. Almost all the grapes of the domain are put together in this wine (no Saint Ferréol), so it represents the good "classic" Red of la Tour du Bon. It has intensity, and a nice complexity— combining fruits ans spices— without any heavyness because of the good hydric climate we had."
