Barbera Superiore Colli Tortonesi
Harvested from three parcels amounting to 1 hectare, planted between 1920 and 1940 on calcareous clay with southern exposure. There are even some bush vines here. Harvested at very low yields of 3,000kg/ha (about 21 hl/ha). The grapes are destemmed and are fermented in concrete tanks. Maceration for the 2013 vintage lasted a full two months. The wine was aged for 18 months in used barriques of 225 and 300L. 2500 bottles produced.
