Great little dessert wine in half bottles! This B.A. or Beerenauslese (specially selected berries which are concentrated by botrytis) is blended from Gewürztraminer, Müller-Thurgau and Riesling. Wines like this are some of the rarest and most labor-intensive bottlings made in the world. Pale gold in color, with dancing aromatics of honey, honeysuckle, roses and apricot. In the mouth the wine feels full bodied with an oily core, very sweet but not sticky, with mild acidity and pleasant length. A fantastic value in B.A., every restaurant should offer this for dessert by-the-glass with pies, cakes, and ice cream.
