Biancospino Vino Bianco
100% Trebbiano (as of 2017 vintage). From old, organically farmed vines on volcanic soils of the Mt. Amiata zone not far from Montalcino. Destemmed and fermented with native yeasts in steel tank, with a 5-month maceration (a change from 1 month in 2016). The wine is then aged 4 months in tank, followed by 8 months in a combination of old oak barrique, acacia barrique, terracotta & steel. Unfiltered.
