Branco (Arinto e Fernao Pires)
65% Arinto (the ultimate Atlantic Portuguese grape, yielding mineral wines with bright acidity) and 35% Fernao Pires (a workhorse variety found in many regions of Portugal). The fruit came from a single-vineyard planted in the 90’s. The grapes are de-stemmed and left to macerate for four days, with some foot-stomping. After a soft press the must fermented in used oak barrel where it aged for 11 months on the lees.
