"Notes of minty green pear, white flowers, nutmeg, cantaloupe melon and freshly baked bread preface the 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Macherelles, a medium to full-bodied wine with a satiny attack that segues into an ample but racy mid-palate. Seamless and expressive, this will drink well young."

"A slightly more elegant nose reveals aromas of green fruit, citrus rind, resin and a whiff of carnation. There is plenty of citrus influence on the palate of the medium weight flavors that conclude in a bone-dry, youthfully austere and somewhat attenuated finale though I suspect that will change will bottle age."
