"This is the fourth vintage of Sandra Bravo's brilliant old-vine Garnacha from Rivas de Tereso and it's every bit as good as its predecessors. Aged in 300-litre clay amphoras, it's wonderfully perfumed and intense, with engaging bramble and red cherry fruit sweetness, fine tannins and a long, energetic palate. 2023-32"

"Vibrant, spicy nose of dark red berries. The palate is high toned and very fresh and concentrated. A spectacular high altitude, cool climate Garnacha from 80-year-old vines. Sourced from several parcels with varying soils in the 650m high Rivas de Tereso and spontaneously fermented in old foudres and matured in 300L clay amphora"

"The 2021 Rioja “La Dula” from Sandra Bravo’s Bodega Sierra de Toloño is made entirely from old vine Garnacha (vines in excess of eighty years-old!), fermented in old oak foudres and raised in amphorae. The wine comes in at fourteen percent octane and offers up a beautifully complex bouquet of red and black raspberries, garrigue, cigar smoke, stony soil tones, wild fennel and a lovely topnote of Rioja spice tones. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, focused and elegant in profile, with a great core of old vine fruit, beautiful soil signature, ripe, buried tannins and a long, tangy, complex and impeccably balanced finish. This is a simply great bottle of Garnacha in the making. 2029-2065+"
