Gewürztraminer "Les Éléments"


From 2.8 hectares spread among several vineyards in Béblenheim, Riquewihr, Sigolsheim and Zellenberg ranging from 25-50 years of age. They are planted in silt, limestone, and marl at a density of about 6500 vines per hectare. Manual harvest, a four-month fermentation is followed by seven months aging on the fine lees. 1420 cases produced. 27 g/L of RS. Sweetness Scale: 4/9.

No fining, no chaptalisation, no acidificiation, and only indigenous yeasts are used.
