"Deep, lurid ruby. Primary red fruit aromas and a sexy floral quality on the highly perfumed, smoke- and spice-accented nose. Smooth and concentrated on the palate, offering cherry liqueur, raspberry, lavender pastille and spicecake flavors that pick up succulent herb and mineral nuances as the wine opens up. Fleshy yet energetic in style, delivering impressive finishing punch and harmonious, slow-building tannins that don't detract from the wine's inviting fruit."
