"The 2009 Rosé Les Rachais is 100% Pinot Noir that was macerated for 12 hours and fermented in barrels, including malolactic. The nose is quite unique—very floral and pure but also aromatic, with discreet oak, potted plum and strawberry aromas along with notes of rose petals. On the palate, this is a very intense and vinous, quite creamy textured yet pure, finessed and elegant rosé with a lot of brioche flavors. This should be gorgeous with food. Disgorged as Extra Brut (three grams per liter) in December 2017. Tasted April 2018."
