The vineyards are located in the commune of Couchey, on a hillside facing east/southeast. Here, the soils date from the middle of the Jurassic period, with strata of limestone and fossils as well as marl. The vines are 40 years of age on average; the Lécheneauts farm a total of .065 hectares.
