"Healthy dark red. Reticent, slightly reduced aromas of blueberry, blackberry and mocha suggest a rather strict wine. Densely packed and uncompromisingly dry, but a distinctly elegant style in the context of the vintage. The medicinal berry and spice flavors are complicated by a light saline element. The least sweet and most obviously structured of these 2015 village wines, this Nuits-Saint-Georges conveys good verve and terroir character. Finishes with serious, ripe tannins and lingering notes of redcurrant and leather."
