Ornabrak Single Malt Gin
This is currently one of only three single malt gins produced in the world. Ornabrak is derived from the Gaelic “Eorna Braiche”, which translates to “malted barley.” Starting with Kalak Vodka as the base, this gin is distilled a fifth time with a combination of juniper berry, Douglas fir, garden angelica root, lemon verbena, and lemon peel. The juniper comes through in the nose and on the palate; aromas of evergreen mingle with subtle spice and citrus. On the palate, there is a spicy, peppercorn component; the citrus turns earthy. This beautiful gin is beautiful served straight, but it absolutely sings in cocktails.
