A blend of 60% Cabernet Franc, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Pinot Noir, all hand harvested from the Tupungato Winelands vineyard in Gualtallary. This 250-acre site was planted in 2007 at an altitude of 4,600 feet; the soils are primarily calcareous, and very stony. Vinified in concrete eggs, and aged 12 months in bottle. 300 cases produced.
Tasting Note: Macerated cherries and crushed mint with undertones of cedar, crushed stone, nutmeg, and ground black pepper.
