Pinot Noir "Bieze Vineyard" Eola-Amity
Eola-Amity Hills wines show vibrancy, structure, savory herbs and dark fruit as a rule. The 2015 Bieze Vineyard from Hamacher is no exception. The vineyard sits high up on the hill facing southeast. It's a classic late ripening Eola-Amity Hills site (ancient marine sediment) What it lacks in alcohol it more than makes up for in intensity, ripe tannins and elegant power. In a warm season like 2015, this cooler site hit its stride!
Winemaking: 17 months in 40% new French oak. 87cs produced.
