Dramatically rich and vividly honeyed on the palate, with musk melon, apricot and peach preserves subtly enlivened by lemon and salt, this manages to refresh and invigorate in a way that most of the Auslesen here today don’t quite manage. The sense of layering as well as dynamic of fruit preserves, fresh fruit, botrytis honey, and mineral here is impressively persistent, and I don’t doubt that this will be at least a 25 year wine. "
