Riesling Dürnsteiner Kellerberg
The Dürnsteiner Kellerberg is another renowned site in Wachau. Not only does it characterize the famed landscape of Dürnstein, it also provides the foundation for particularly intense Rieslings. Weathered gneiss, the most common rock in this area, stamps the site’s meager, sandy soil. The vines are 25 years old.
Harvested October 26th, 2015. Natural fermentation in stainless steel lasted until the end of May 2016; aged on the lees until bottling in September 2016.
