Riesling “McGill Vineyard”
The 4-acre McGill Vineyard, in the heart of the Rutherford AVA, is home to 60-year-old vines that have been farmed with no pesticide use whatsoever. Sans Wine Co. farms this vineyard themselves. They hand-harvest during the night and early morning to keep the small bunches nice and cold, then press the tiny bunches immediately. The juice goes into a small stainless steel tank; fermentation starts and finishes naturally. Aged in stainless steel until canning.
