Riesling from the organically farmed Coquelicot Vineyard in Los Olivos AVA of Santa Barbara. The vineyard was planted in 1997 on sandy soils made of shale, sandstone, and granite. The fruit was gently foot crushed and macerated on skins for four days before pressing. Aged in California clay amphorae for nine months, no additions, bottled unfined and unfiltered.
