Riesling Spätlese "Alte Reben 1944" Euchariusberg
72g/l RS, 10.7g acid. Picked at 89 degrees oechsle, two weeks before the 1923 Spatlese in the Sonnenberg, yet sweeter to be sure. Vivid, fresh, minerally, cherubically plump, a little shy in the nose, faintly candied in a delicious way, and obviously young as hell. A twenty-five year wine in the making.
