Rivas de Tereso
In only its second year of existence, Rivas de Tereso is clearly an important bottling for lovers of New Spain! From a single vineyard planted to Tempranillo that ripens earlier and shows more minerality than the vineyards used for her entry-level Rioja. Fermented spontaneously (and very slowly) in 300-L anfora and then aged in a 2 year-old barrel for one year. Sandra says that fermenting in anfora allows her to "transmit and keep all of the flavors that I find in the grapes themselves into the wine."
