"The 2017 Minervois Roc du Pière comes from the estate's rockiest parcel, and it was aged in foudres. It's silky, elegant and medium-bodied, labeled at only 13% alcohol, an anomaly in the region. Yet it's not shy on flavor, delivering lively cherry fruit accented by hints of crushed stone and dried spices. It doesn't fit regional stereotypes, and that's part of its unique charm. It should drink well for 4-5 years."
