100% Carignan from three blocks within the Poor Ranch Vineyard in Mendocino County. The oldest block, "Coyote Rock", was planted in 1943. Poor Ranch is all dry-farmed and certified organic. Each block is hand harvested and vinified separarately, with all fruit being de-stemmed and pressed off immediately. Natural yeast fermentation, aged in stainless steel and blended before canning. Unfined/unfiltered, no added SO2.
