Rosé "Cecelia" Sierra Foothills
60% Sauvignon Blanc (Slope 23, 1900 ft), 40% Syrah (Slope 19, 2300 ft) from Renaissance Vineyard.
Sauvignon Blanc harvested first, whole-cluster foot stomped. Syrah harvested and immediately whole-cluster foot stomped and pressed into SB. Soaks on SB skins and stems until the first signs of fermentation, then pressed into open top 200 gal. fermenter. Transferred to neutral oak puncheon and barrel, aged for 6 months.
