Malvasia Verde/Malvasia Bianco/Biancame/Trebbiano/Grechetto. Organically farmed, hand-harvested estate fruit. The grapes macerate overnight, are gently pressed and and co-ferment with native yeasts in glass-lined cement tank. The wine was racked from cement tanks to stainless steel and then bottled in May after the vintage. Historically at Sanguineto, which was not uncommon, vignaiola Dora Forsoni's father blended the whites into the Vino Nobile to soften this robust. long-aging wine; Dora ended that practice and bottles the white separately and the Vino Nobile as a pure red.
