"(Raised for 18 months in a 50/50 mix of concrete vats and large oak barrels) Opaque ruby. Intense aromas of raspberry liqueur, potpourri and incense carry a smoky mineral overtone. Chewy and focused on the palate, offering subtly sweet red berry and spicecake flavors and a hint of candied lavender that emerges slowly on the back half. Finishes firm and taut, showing good energy and slow-building, grippy tannins. Give this one some cellar time, or at the very least a good decanting."
