80% Pinot 12% Pinot Menuier 8% Pinot Gris from four different vineyards (Cassin, Claygate, Keleri, Momtazi, Left Coast).
Two thirds whole cluster, wine went through partial carbonic maceration. Unique to this vintage, once the juice settled it was then placed in neutral french oak with very minimal pressure as it went through malolactic fermentation.
These techniques yield a structured red that perfectly highlights both tannin and fruit. Each varietal compliments one another creating a well balanced, acid driven red that is “dangerously drinkable”
Deep floral and intense red fruit notes of cherry and raspberry on the pallet into a complex minerality of gravel and white pepper, finishing off with structured tannins.
