"The 2019 Malbec Volaré del Camino from Gualtallary, Uco Valley was aged in neutral barrels. Purple in the glass. The reductive nose features dark red fruit such as sour cherry and fresh plum along with lavender and black tea. Mild with chalky tannins, a compact beginning and tense flow, the fairly refined tannins allow the volume to build without losing the ethereal character. The 2019 is a taut, tense wine."
