"No longer the only Malvasia Blanca in Argentina, but this was the original one and is now in its eighth vintage. Sourced from 100-year-old vines, it has a subtle reduction, quince, and pear fruit, a hint of nutmeg spice, and a tangerine finish. A good blind-tasting wine. 2023-27 "

"The white 2022 Livverá Malvasía comes from 19 rows in a very old vineyard. It fermented with skins for 120 days and has aromas that remind me of juicy and ripe Moscatel pulp, rose petals and a spicy twist. It has 11% alcohol and very good freshness, floral and spicy and tons of orange blossom, but the character of the grape is stronger than the process here. It has a dry palate, powerful, but not tannic, with tasty flavors and a clean finish. It matured in 225- and 500-liter barrels that are never topped up, but that part is only 30% of the wine that has a little flor. 5,800 bottles were filled in October 2022."
