Domaine Parpalhòl

*NEW AT BOWLER!* Domaine Parpalhòl is a partnership between Serge Pillot, a veteran of European restaurants, and Julien Sarda who took over his family estate in 2006 after stages with Jean-Michel Alquier in Faugeres and the renowned Domaine Trevallon in Provence. They are helped by oenologue Sophie Brun who consults for legendary estates Granges des Pères and Domaine Montcalmès. The estate covers 30 hectares of mostly sandy soils overlooking the Plateau de l'Orb, just north of Beziers, very close to the Mediterranean coast. The winery is named for the word for butterfly in the Occitan language, and reflects the eco-conscious and conservationist interests of the winery. Certified bio by Ecocert since 2013. Considering the talent involved, the commitment to their environment, and the sheer deliciousness of the wines offered here at outstandingly modest prices, this is poised to become one of the best values in the Bowler French portfolio!
