Although the wine bug took hold long ago, my intro into the business came fairly late. I grew up in Houston, TX and thankfully both of my parents are great cooks and wine was often on the table. My background has been primarily focused on music, playing gigs and working in the vintage drum and cymbal business in Manhattan through my twenties.
As my interest in wine grew, I realized that in order to learn more I would either need to make a lot more money or start working in the ﬁeld! This led me back into retail before spending a couple of years on the wine team at The Standard High Line. Now I am thrilled to start the next chapter and be joining the team here at Bowler.
Outside of the office, I am chipping away at the WSET 'Diploma In Wines' certiﬁcation, trying to spend some time on the drums when possible, and hanging with my family.
