Finding wine was the best thing to ever happen to me. It revealed a wonderful world that inspired infinite self discovery, life-long friendships, and an ever-changing understanding of flavor and the societal and ecological factors that affect it. My journey in wine has been meandering and fueled a lot by uncertainty and also a lot by wines with “crunchy acidity”.

From hiding liters of Pipeno in my Nalgene at punk shows in Tampa, hand destemming Poulsard by the lug in the vineyards of Arbois, selling wines in the Bay Area throughout increasingly worse fire seasons, to finally settling in upstate New York where hybrids were the initial draw. I am humbled and grateful to land with Bowler where the intersection of agriculture, beauty, and humanity are deeply intertwined.
