Matt’s hospitality career began two decades ago in a St. Louis suburb, bussing tables at Alfonzo’s Pizzeria. After studying at Illinois Wesleyan University, he relocated to Los Angeles to pursue his passion for food and drink, spending over a decade climbing the ranks from bartender to wine director. In 2021, Matt relocated to San Diego with his wife Randi, daughter Mara, and their dog Otis. Today, when he isn't visiting accounts across San Diego County, Matt can be found playing with Mara at the park, walking the dog, or talking about the importance of farming in winemaking.
