Bianco Colli Tortonesi

Italy
Piedmont
2024

The "Bianco Colli Tortonesi" is fruit of all of the estate's parcels, planted between 1959 and 1999, as each plot has at least some white grapes in it.   As of the 2024 vintage, it is labeled as Vino Bianco, as the Colli Tortonesi appellation doesn't allow for the inclusion of Moscato in the mix.
45% Cortese,  45% Favorita, 10% Moscato-- co-harvest, co-ferment. The grapes were whole-cluster pressed (no maceration) and spontaneously fermented in concrete and stainless steel vats with temperature control. Malolactic fermentation did take place. Aging was also in concrete and stainless, for six months on the lees.
