50% Glera/50% Riesing. Glera for sparkling wine (Prosecco and IGT Frizzante)  is the mainstay of Casa Coste PIane, but in some vintages, a bit is set aside for a still white blend with Riesling. Both varieties are estate fruit, organically farmed, planted on heavy clay marl soils, harvested by hand, and vinified separately. Whole clusters of each are gently pressed and spontaneously fermented in steel tank. The two wines spend the winter in separate tanks and are combined in the spring and bottled without filtration. It finished with 5 grams residual sugar and 5.5 grams total acidity in 2025.
