"The 2023 Saint-Amour has an intense violet color and a fine substance that promises much for the palate to come. The nose is carefully drawn and refined, with a great diversity of perfumes running from blackcurrant to plum by way of spice, and it continues to open in the glass. The same is felt on the palate, in a flesh with depth, volume, and substance, the tannins present but already civil. A very fine wine, precise, full, and balanced, it is still very young, well removed from the light reading the cru so often receives. It will age gracefully over the next 10-15 years."
