Saint Aubin Blanc En Ebaupin
From a small vineyard above the village of Saint Aubin. Shards of limestone poke out of white, chalky soil at the top of the vineyard, moving into a iron-rich limestone at the base of the slope. The fruit from the top is more mineral and acid driven, with grapes lower down giving richer, riper, fruitdriven character. This is a late ripening site with old vines delivering classic Saint Aubin aromatics, flavours and verve. Aged in barrel for 12 - 15 months. 1,500 bottles made.
