Sauvignon Blanc (Orange)
Sauvignon Blanc from the organically farmed Coquelicot Vineyard in Los Olivos AVA of Santa Barbara. The vineyard was planted in 1997 on sandy soils made of shale, sandstone, and granite. The fruit was gently foot crushed and macerated on skins in Italian terracotta and stainless steel for eight months. The wine was pressed and left to settle for an additional month before bottling. No additions of any kind, bottled unfined and unfiltered.
