This wine is 100% hand harvested Mencia from a single .4 Hectare plot within the estate vineyard in the Los Chacayes IG. Grapes are left 100% whole cluster, undergo a 6 day maceration but are later racked for fermentation. Aged for two years in 225L used French oak barrels.

"The 2019 Dolio Mencia de Los Andes is 100% Mencia from Los Chocoyes, Uco Volley and was fermented with stems ond aged in barrels. Ruby red in the gloss. The stemmy nose presents notes of sour cherry, pomegranate and lactic, quite herbal aromas with gentle hints of cedar. The palate offers tension and a degree of grip with zingy freshness and good flavor before the finish of herbs and fruit. This is a distinctive, distinguished red. "
