50% Grenache Blanc/25% Viognier/25% Vermentino. 2021 is the first vintage of Bellivière's first macerated white wine, which is part of their newer "Les Arches de Bellivière" line of wines. The vines are not part of the estate but rather from a Ventoux (southern Rhône) vineyard; the Nicolas family of Bellivière has partnered with this like-minded grower, who also farms biodynamically and whose fruit goes into their "Les Arches" Raisin Migrateurs red and Astrancia rosé as well. The Nicolases harvested the three white varieties and shipped them by refrigerated truck directly to their Jasnières winery, where the bunches were destemmed, co-fermented spontaneously without sulfur in tank and macerated for 3 weeks with an occasional punchdown. The wine was tank-aged and bottled in clear glass with a small amount of sulfur and without filtration.
