The vines that started it all. After a meticulous search, David and Diana Lett moved the first 3000 vines in the Williamette Valley to this 17-acre vineyard from their 1965 nursery - named after the nest (or "eyrie") of the red-tailed hawks living at the site. The Eyrie vineyard in Dundee Hills AVA has been farmed organically since it's inception in 1966. The fruit was direct-pressed, fermented and aged on lees in neutral oak Burgundy barrels for 20 months with no battonage. Bottled unfined/unfiltered, 30ppm total sulfur added. 27 cases produced.
