Pinot Gris from Heringer Vineyard in Clarksburg, planted along the Sacramento River on sandy alluvial soils. The vineyard is farmed using organic methods (currently in CCOF certification process), without the use of synthetic herbicides or pesticides. The grapes were crushed, direct-pressed, and fermented in tank before aging for 10 months in neutral French oak. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. 12.6% abv.
