Mike Hinds sources this Pinot Noir from Zenith Vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA. Zenith is a LIVE-certified, sustainably farmed vineyard that is dry-farmed without herbicides and planted in marine sedimentary soils. The majority of the fruit for this bottling is Pommard clone, planted in 2006. The wine was fermented with 30% whole clusters in open topped bins, and at cool temperatures to ensure gentle extraction. Aged for 24-months in neutral French oak and an additional 5-months in tank, racked twice, and bottled unfined and unfiltered. 12.6% abv.
